Terms and Conditions

Dynamic Signaling Maps™

The Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition application service is provided on an "as is", "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, without limitation, those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Under no circumstances shall Hippron Physiomics Inc. or its management, officers, or employees, be liable for any incidental, special, or consequential damages or loss of business under or arising from this agreement including, without limitation, any liability for damages caused or allegedly caused by any failure or decrease of performance, error, omission, interruption, electrical surge/damage/interference, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communications line failure, breakdown of equipment, software error, infringement, unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction, alteration, or use of, records.

Access to Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition is available on a paid subscription basis. An account becomes active the next business day after receipt of the payment and remains permanently enabled for the duration of the subscription. Hippron Physiomics Inc. reserves the right to decline any registration, and suspend any account, associated with an individual or entity that might represent a trade competition or security concern or threat in relation to its products. We discourage software developers, especially if involved in biological pathway-related projects, from applying for a Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition account. Access via anonymous proxy servers is strictly prohibited. Any accounts with connections from networks associated with competitor organizations, or with security concerns, or via anonymous proxies, will be promptly suspended without compensation and without prior warning.

An individual can register for one Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition account only and is hereafter referred to as "user". Registration does not guarantee uninterrupted access to Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition. Conditions that might result in a temporary or permanent interruption of service ("down time") include, but are not limited to, power outages, hardware and/or software failures, system maintenance, and interruption in service in connection with our Internet Service Provider. The Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition application service may be unavailable during the weekends and/or any time when maintenance is deemed necessary. Should the Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition server be out of service continuously for a week or more and up to a month, membership will be extended for the number of full weeks of interrupted service. Should the server be out of service continuously for a month or more and up to a year, members will be offered the possibility to obtain a refund as the percentage of their last payment corresponding to the number of full months of interrupted service.

Users are strongly discouraged from opening more than one session with the same credentials at any time. Users must not log in using more than one web browser at the same time. Although several DSM Language files are available to each user, a certain number of temporary files are shared by various components of the software. Opening more than one Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition console with the same credentials can result in several processes that run on our server competing for the same files; although the system was designed to intercept most of these situations, the outcome would be unpredictable and user files may prove unrecoverable.

Technical support is provided via the Dynamic Signaling Maps Forums (see below), exceptions notwithstanding.

Any attempt to gain access to other user's credentials, files, or data; to copy, reverse-engineer, or alter the Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition software, or other Hippron product(s), either server-side (scripts, binaries, configuration files) or client-side (Javascript, Flash, VRML, HTML code), will be promptly sanctioned by termination of access without compensation and without prior warning. Perpetrators will be prosecuted and their network administrators and employers will be notified.

We respect the privacy of our clients and will not communicate your registration e-mail address to third parties. For security reasons, accounts inactive for a long time may be temporarily suspended.

Users share the resources of the Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition server. Perceived performance may vary depending on the number of users connected to the server as well as traffic on interposing segments of the Internet, at any particular moment. To maintain service quality for our clients, a limit is set to the number of active accounts. When that limit is reached new registrations are issued upon suspension of existing accounts only.

Constructive comments and suggestions on this product allow us to serve our clients better. Access to Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition may be granted on a trial basis under special circumstances for feedback purposes. The validity of a trial account is two weeks maximum.

Dynamic Signaling Maps Forums

Those public forums are provided free of charge for the convenience of Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition users with the goal of creating an active online signaling pathway community. Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition registration is not a prerequisite for posting to the Forums, and Forums credentials may be different from Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition credentials. A valid e-mail address must be provided upon registration. You agree not to post or transmit any unlawful, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane, or indecent information of any kind, including without limitation any transmissions constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any local, state, national, or international law. Should you not abide to these rules we reserve the right to permanently block your access to the system and close your Dynamic Signaling Maps :: Internet Edition and/or Forums account(s) with no compensation.
